Classes are 2-1/2 hours long,& sold in sessions of 6 classes at a time. This enables the pottery student to throw on the wheel, hand build (if so inclined), trim pots, and glaze their pieces. Most students make about 8 pieces during a session.

WORKSHOPS AND PARTIES:
Gather a group of friends or a group of kids together, give them clay and see what happens!
WORKSHOPS can be as simple as a group of people together for two hours with clay and tools, and let the magic begin. Clay projects can be handbuilt or thrown on the wheel. Pieces are then dried, bisque fired and glazed for the participants, to be picked up or delivered at a later date. When participants would like to be part of the full process, a second date can be set for the glazing. Pieces are then fired for the second time and completed.
PARTIES: BIRTHDAY OR CLAY PARTIES are a whole lot of fun too. Gather a group of kids together with clay and it is amazing what will develop. Let Ann come to your home with clay and tools and for 1-1/2 to 2 hours your party group will be entertained, with an advantage. When the pieces are dried and fired, your child and their friends will have a permanent product from the party. Projects often include wheel thrown bowls, handbuilt bowls, pinch pot bowls, mugs, soap dishes, vases and little sculptures.
PRICING OF PARTIES: Childrens parties are often priced at $50/child, depending on the number of children included. Groups of 6 or more may have discounts applied. This includes set up, materials, tools, firings and glazing.
Adult parties are also in the same price range.
Parties can be held in your home or at Studio 209 in the Alton Mill.
